Experienced Roofer / Trainer

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experience all round roofer with a genuine love of teaching and training the next generation of roofers.

We are a small specialist flat roofing company (EPDM) based on Brunswick Industrial Estate near Newcastle Upon Tyne. We aspire to being the best in the business at what we do so Quality and Service are what we are all about. We’re not just saying that though; we mean it and we do it every day - just google us to see what our clients have to say about how we go about our business.

We are well qualified and have good expertise in our specialism but feel we would benefit from having more all round roofing experience and expertise in the business.

We are therefore seeking a very experienced all rounder with knowledge of all aspects of roofing. Someone who also genuinely enjoys training and teaching the next generation of roofers. Not just in the technical aspect but also in the mindset and attitude of a great tradesman. Caring about quality, caring about the detail, caring about the client are the kinds of things I’m talking about. You have to actually care and be an evangelist for quality in all things. Rare qualities I know.

The job will involve a nice varied mix of: on the tools, training - on and off site and surveying.

Anyone with loads of experience, a great attitude and a positive mindset is welcome to apply. The role may well be a good fit for an older pro looking to start winding down from the tools and to start passing on their knowledge to the next generation but is open to anyone who fancies it.
